The King of Soaps

With sustainability on everybody’s mind, our organic and fair trade bar soaps have been attracting lots of awesome attention.  We were therefore hugely pleased this month to appear on one of the nation’s favourite television programmes, This Morning.

Dr Bronner's Soap bars on This Morning

We watched as Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes got their hands clean alongside Sarah Jossel, Beauty Director at the Sunday Times Style, who talked the presenting duo through her pick of the best bar soaps on the market.

Describing Dr. Bronner’s as ‘the king of soaps’, our Pure Castile Bar Soap was first up to be tested. Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Bar Soap was praised for its natural credentials before Phillip tested the Peppermint bar himself. Impressed, Phillip remarked that the soap was ‘very lovely, very lathery’. Enriched with some incredible natural ingredients such as organic coconut oil, organic hemp seed oil and organic jojoba oil, it’s no wonder Phillip was impressed with the creamy texture.

Our Bar Soaps have always been popular, but 2018 saw sales of these rich, creamy bars rise by 30%. Particularly useful for households that are looking to cut down on their plastic usage, the bars are completely biodegradable as well as being packaged in 100% post-consumer recycled wrap and printed with water-based ink. Since they’re so long lasting they are also an economic choice, and just like our Pure Castile Liquid Soaps, there are so many ways these bars can be used. They’re ideal for hands and body, but why not also try grating and using as a natural laundry detergent?

Head to our Bar Soaps page to shop the range at £4.99 each.
